Q.   HOW DO I GET TO THE FACILITY? WHO MAKES THE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS?

A.   Upon completion of your initial evaluation and it has been determined that you meet criteria for care; After the Impact Fund (ATIF) will help coordinate your travel to and from the recommended facility.

Q.   WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO THE FACILITY?

A.   We recommend that you bring the following items: toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, deodorant, soap, shampoo, nail clippers, Q-tips, casual clothes, workout clothes, sneakers, and electronic devices. There are laundry facilities on-site for you to wash your clothes in the evening.

Q.   AM I ALLOWED TO HAVE VISITORS DURING MY STAY AT THE FACILITY?

A.   Visitors are allowed at the facility during the established visiting hours schedule.

Q.   HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY PRIVACY?

A.   Privacy is something ATIF takes very seriously. This includes information we collect and send to the treatment facility, and your privacy at the facility. All materials will strictly follow HIPAA guidelines and no one will know your treatment plan unless agreed upon by you or the person able to make decisions.

Q.   WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I LEAVE THE FACILITY?

A.   ATIF prides itself on providing a personal connection with all of our veterans and athletes. When you leave the center you will have an Action Plan that is created by the staff and yourself. Our team will follow-up with you 1-2x per week for the first two weeks, and at least 1-2x per month thereafter.
